New EU-backed competition on purchase of equipment will create jobs in Khmelnytskyi region
On 31st January, the competition for the purchase of equipment to create jobs on terms of co-financing was announced in Khmelnytskyi. Participation in the competition is open to local self-governments, municipal enterprises, institutions and organisations as well as charity funds that are duly registered and operating in Khmelnytskyi region. The maximum amount of funding per participant is 50% of the total cost of the equipment, but it cannot exceed 350k UAH.
Local milk farmers in Dnipropetrovsk region are getting higher income with cooperative established due to EU grant
On 24th January, the EU-funded project on developing dairy farming presented its results in Pyatykhatky (Dnipropetrovsk oblast). During 2014-2016, the project established the cooperative “Pyatykhatky euromoloko” and purchased all the necessary equipment for its functioning, namely: 4 milk tankers, 2 milk cooling tanks with a capacity of 3,700 litres, laboratory and other equipment, including for milk inspection. The cooperative “Pyatykhatky euromoloko” created 14 workplaces.
Already €130 billion delivered into Europe's real economy under the European Structural and Investment Funds
For the first time, the Commission issued a progress report covering the five Funds. It shows a sharp acceleration in investments over the last months, with an implementation expected to reach cruising speed in 2017.
